Natsumi Hayashi fotografa auto-retratos em que ela sempre aparece levitando. Ela se denomina Yowayowa camera woman sendo que em japonês “yowayowa” significa leve e franzina.

Depois de fazer o design das agencias do Sugamo Shinkin Bank em Tokiwadai e Niiza (que já comentamos aqui) o escritorio de arquitetura francês Emmanuelle Moureaux Architecture  fez o design de mais uma agencia agora em Shimura, seguindo o mesmo principio de ser colorida, divertida e que não lembra nada a caretice dos bancos comuns. After designing the branchs of Sugamo Shinkin Bank in Tokiwadai and Niiza (see the post here) Tokyo-based french architect office Emmanuelle Moureaux Architects designed one more branch, now in Shimura, maintaining the same principles of being fun, coloured and very different from usual bank atmospheres. (via dezeen)

Chloe ballet video

O site Nowness e a Chloé fizeram um curta para a coleção primavera-verão inspirada no ballet. Os tecidos fluidos e leves foram o figurino para os movimento contínuos da bailarina Janie Taylor, destaque do  New York City Ballet. O filme foi dirigido por Bon Duke e o par de Janie é o bailarino Justin Peck.

New York City Ballet principal ballerina Janie Taylor tests Chloé’s dance-inspired spring/summer 2011 collection. The light, fluid movements embodied in flux through the language of ballet is the subject of a short film on Nowness with choreographer and corps de ballet member Justin Peck by director Bon Duke.

FIERCE FESTIVAL is a Birmingham live art festival that returns after a break with new young curators. This year the programming combines subtle interventions in experience of public space. From Tuesday 22nd – Sunday 27th March there are six days of shows, events, parties and installations across the city.

BFF Bicycle Film Festival

The Bicycle Film Festival is back for its eleventh year. Started in 2001 by Brendt Barbur, the event invites films across all genres and styles as long as it contains a bike-related theme. The program will travel to over 25 cities this year including New York, Paris, Liverpool and Milan. The BFF also includes rock shows, street parties, art shows, dinners, bike rides and more.
