kiko+ é uma marca japonesa que acredita em “arvores se conectam com crianças, crianças se conectam com brincadeiras, brincadeiras se conectam com arte”. Essas sandalias-brincadeira, por exemplo, vêem com pegadas divertidas em forma de pegadas de gato, coruja ou macaco.

kiko+ is a japanese brand that believe that “trees meets kids, kids meets play, play meets art”. These playful sandals, for example, comes with funny footprints like cat, owl and monkey.

O escritório holandês MVRDV venceu um concurso para a construção do Comic and Animation Museum  na China. A estrutra proposta é formada por 8 espaços gigantes em forma balões e bexigas (via dezeen)

The Metropol Parasol

Acaba de ficar pronto o “Metropol Parasol”, o projeto de revitalização da Plaza de la Encarnacíon em Sevilha. Idealizada pelo escritório de arquitetura J. MAYER H., o projeto já se tornou um marco na paisagem da cidade. É um espaço que tem museu arqueoógico, mercado, praça elevada, bares, restaurantes além de um terraço no topo.

April 2011 marks the completion of “Metropol Parasol”, the redevelopment of the Plaza de la Encarnacíon in Seville. Designed by J. MAYER H. architects, this project has already become the new landmark for the city. It offers an archaeological museum, a farmers market, an elevated plaza, multiple bars and restaurants underneath and inside the parasols, as well as a panorama terrace on the very top of the parasols.

Rojo’s Nova Project @ Rio

Tofer Chin‘s latest show in Rio de Janeiro, “Fourteen Black”, runs until 30 April 2011 as part of Rojo’s Nova project.To address the project’s theme about the absence of light, Chin placed 14 tall, black triangles—a shape that regularly appears in his work—around the Patos Lagoon in the Jardim Botanico neighborhood. The wooden, acrylic-coated “black stalagmites” are meant to be “living and breathing souls, ghosts, spirits, voids, shadows.”
